Manoir Le Cosquer This majestic 15th century Manoir is in a superb country environment at the end of a private avenue, close to the centre of the charming village of Pommerit Le Vicomte. This traditional Breton village is only 20 minutes drive from the stunning Granite Rose coast, beaches and fishing ports and just 10 minutes from the historic little town of Guingamp & the village of Pontrieux. The ports of St Malo and Roscoff are 80 minutes and 55 minutes drive away respectively. Enjoy the manoir’s warm original features such as the huge chestnut and oak beams, terracotta flooring, monumental fireplaces and more. If you like light and sunny rooms you will love the three reception rooms and farmhouse kitchen as they all enjoy a double aspect to the front and rear gardens and the lake, all set in a total of some seven acres. Oozing with charm from its religious roots the manoir has a long documented history dating back to the 15th century, and was used as the location for the French film ‘L’Affaire Seznec’. This majestic manoir is ideal for holidays, family reunions, special
occassions, get togethers or golfing holidays. It is in a superb
country environment yet only 300 metres away at the end of a private
avenue, to the centre of the charming village of Pommerit Le
Vicomte. Here you can buy provisions from the corner shop, bread
from the boulangerie, visit the local cafes, listed church or get
stamps from the post office. The manoir, comprising the East & West Wings, sleeps 12-20 people in 6/7 en-suite bedrooms. There are large reception rooms with oak & chestnut beams open fireplaces, a large farmhouse kitchen with modern appliances and a separate dining room for up to 20 people. Please contact the owners for more information regarding the bedroom layout. For smaller families the West Wing only is available to rent most of the year, except during July, August & some holidays. The West Wing provides 4 en-suite bedrooms, the farmhouse kitchen and lounge - please contact us for more details.
The West and East Wings of the manoir
interconnect to provide very spacious accommodation for 12 to 20
people. The main features are the 6 en-suite bedrooms, the large
