Manoir Le Cosquer

This majestic 15th century Manoir is in a superb country environment at the end of a private avenue, close to the centre of the charming village of Pommerit Le Vicomte. This traditional Breton village is only 20 minutes drive from the stunning Granite Rose coast, beaches and fishing ports and just 10 minutes from the historic little town of Guingamp & the village of Pontrieux. Visit Paimpol or the Isle de Brehat for a great family escape. The ports of St Malo and Roscoff are 80 minutes and 55 minutes drive away respectively and Dinard and Brest airports an hour.

Enjoy the manoir’s warm original features such as the huge chestnut and oak beams, terracotta flooring, monumental fireplaces and more. If you like light and sunny rooms you will love the three reception rooms and farmhouse kitchen as they all enjoy a double aspect to the front and rear gardens and the lake, all set in a total of some seven acres.

Oozing with charm from its religious roots the manoir has a long documented history dating back to the 15th century, and was used as the location for the French film ‘L’Affaire Seznec’.

This majestic manoir is ideal for a large family holiday, a family reunion, a special occassion or celebration, a get together or a golfing holiday. It is in a superb country environment yet in the village you can buy provisions from the corner shop, bread from the boulangerie, visit the local cafes, listed church or get stamps from the post office.

The  manoir, comprising the East & West Wings, sleeps 12-15+ people in 6  en-suite bedrooms plus large play room (extra room).  There are  large reception rooms with oak & chestnut beams  open fireplaces, a large farmhouse  kitchen with modern appliances and a separate dining room for up to 20 people. Please contact the owners for more information regarding the bedroom layout. Extra beds could be added.

For extra accommodation at  the Manoir,   'La Grange', a separate cottage but which is annexed to the manoir  is available and sleeps up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms. This can only be rented together with the manoir.  Contact us for more details and pricing.

Summer pool 25 feet x 11 feet - heated (22-26°)

The West and East Wings of the manoir interconnect to provide very spacious accommodation for large get- togethers. The main features are the 6 en-suite bedrooms, the large children's play room or extra room and  bathroom, 3 reception rooms, fitness room, heated swimming pool with terrace, and the lake.
